Competitive Training

Competition Training has a different mindset, skill set, and overall approach than defensive training (or shooting). This series teaches you the differences you’ll need to master to be successful in the competitive world of firearms. We start with gear needed, range commands that you will need to be familiar with them move on the live fire portion of your training. Remember, as with our other training opportunities we want you to continue training so repeating a class is only $25.

Introduction to 3 Gun
We will start with the specific gear you need, sharing a variety of options before we start shooting, then range commands you need to know. The drills will demonstrate the best places to save time during a match and how you can practice some of the techniques at home. See Hot Wells Shooting range 3 Gun specific page.

Going forward: When you feel you have successfully mastered the skills and confidence needed to venture out on your own for a competition, check out West Houston Shooter’s Club for a schedule of opportunities for both pistol as well as 3 gun matches.
