Participants must attend all 3 sessions to obtain their certification! We encourage parents
who have not taken the course to take it with their children. Special Note! If you plan to hunt
in Colorado and were born after 1949 you'll need this course to get your license. -------------- TEXAS: If you wish to hunt in Texas and you are: Age 17 & over and born on or after September 2, 1971, you must successfully complete a
hunter education course. Age 12 through 16, you must successfully complete a hunter education course or be
accompanied* by a person 17 years of age or older licensed to hunt in Texas. Under 12 years, you must be accompanied* by a person 17 years of age or older
licensed to hunt in Texas. note: minimum age for certification is 12 years of age. * "Accompanied" means being within normal voice control of the licensed adult hunter.
Hunters certified in other states or provinces must carry proof of certification while hunting. -------------- COLORADO: Persons born on or after Jan. 1, 1949 must complete a certified hunter education
