All uncased guns must have the breech open.
Keep all weapons pointed downrange at all times.
Sit at the designated numbered bench and shoot at the corresponding number target only.
Do not crossfire.
Unload and open the breech before moving.
Do not allow children to pick up any brass.
Children must stay behind the covered area unless shooting.
No one except employees are allowed down range.
No one is allowed at the benches during target changes.
Please do not take sandbags from other benches.
Rapid fire and/or double taps are not allowed. Please allow two seconds between each shot.
Keep your weapon pointed down range at all times.
Please stand with a part of your body touching the table.
Keep your weapon open unless ready to fire and open the breech when you are through firing.
Fire only at your assigned target, nothing on the ground or on the berm.
If more than one person is shooting the same handgun, lay the handgun on the table, pointed downrange and let the other person pick it up in the same position.
When instructing, keep your student within arms reach. Have them lay the gun down, pointed downrange, before asking you questions. It is a normal reaction for a new shooter to turn their pistol in the same direction that they turn their face or attention. Work with one person at a time and have the other student or students stand back off the concrete.
Keep all spectators and children off the concrete.
Do not move from your assigned location with your gun in your hand until you are ready to leave. Insure that the breech is open unless it is cased.
No rapid fire! Allow 2 to 3 seconds between each shot.
Please, pick up all of your hulls at the end of the round.
Shell limits: Light #8 or #9 shot only - No Super Speed.
Keep your gun open unless you are on station and firing.
Keep your gun pointed down range at all times.
Do not put a shell in any part of the gun until you are actually on the station.
Load only one shell except on doubles, and then never more than two shells.
If your shot is not completed for any reason, unload your gun before stepping off the station.
Station 8: All shoot the high house in order, then the low house. Shots must be fired before the bird crosses the center stake.
Only one shot per bird.
Everyone must stand behind the shooter.
Have your shells at hand and be ready for your turn.
SUPERVISE YOUR CHILDREN! (All unattended children will be towed at the owner's expense.)
No untagged shells may be on the range.
You may observe the targets only before the lead-off shooter fires the first shot.
Shoot at the skeet targets only. No fowls, creatures or things. The traditional shooting of the hat on a competitor's "first 25" must be supervised by the range officer.
No alcoholic beverages are permitted at any time.
Do not enter the skeet houses. The machines may not be adjusted by shooters.
Do not pick up hulls until the end of the round.
A skeet round consists of 25 targets only. All extra targets that are thrown cost an additional 25 cents each. (Be sure to count fly-bys.)
Release the button fast. Please do not drop the control box on the concrete. Place it in its box.
Members, please advise the Range House if you are using any other range than the member's range. Also, please turn off machines and skeet range lights before leaving the skeet range.
